Meet the founder of Clearwater Canning Company, Vicki McWhorter. Vicki has a passion for all things culinary and has spent the majority of her adult life in the food service industry. From owning and operating many different culinary concepts, to managing high-volume catering and corporate dining, she has done it all!


However, her exposure to canning came years ago when she spent the hot summers of her childhood in Granny’s kitchen and garden. Years later, Vicki found pleasure in re-exploring those canning techniques she had learned so many years ago, and adding new flavor profiles to classic recipes. It became an annual tradition to make jams and pickles for friends and family at Christmas time, but as popularity rose, requests for those delicious pickles and jams became more and more frequent. I mean, who could wait an entire year?!?!


So, out of love, a business was born. Clearwater Canning Company has been creating deliciousness for almost 20 years now, and we couldn’t be more thankful for the love and support that has been shown to us over those wonderful years.
